Awakening women are gathering on my Facebook Page to join together and take part in my new FREE ‘Movement and Meditation’ virtual retreat, it’s taking place every day all through March
If you aren’t in yet, here’s how you can join us….
1.Go to my Facebook Page and click LIKE
2. Look for the posts titled ‘MOVING & MEDITATING TOGETHER’ and catch up on what we’ve done so far.
3. Start moving your body intuitively every day for the duration of 2 songs. That’s all! Which songs? That’s up to you, just remember this isn’t meant to be exercise or dancing as such (but if that’s what emerges intuitively then go with it), it’s more a chance to let your body show you what it wants to say via uncensored, unstructured and un-self-conscious movement. So you might want to close the door and draw the curtains so you can really let go and see how your body wants to move. It might feel silly at first but letting your body speak is deeply healing, grounding and balancing and THAT’S why we’re doing it.
4. Sit your bum down and meditate for 10 mins. That’s all, just 10 minutes every day through March. How? You can put on soothing music, or focus on taking deep breaths into your lower belly, in through your nose and out through your mouth. You can sit in the garden and ‘cloud-stare’, snuggle on the sofa and ‘fire-stare’. Whatever allows you to get still, silent and to switch off and lose time, just do that for 10 minutes. Oh and about that, set an alarm for 10 mins so you can just let go.
5. Tell your girlfriends about this and invite them to the Facebook Page!
