TAROT FOR AWAKENING WOMEN

It’s taken me 40 years to realise what was right under my pig-headed Taurean nose! I grew up watching my Grand-Nan coach my Mum in reading Tarot and Tea Leaves.

I was 5 when I brewed my first Witches ‘brew’ for my Mum’s Tea Leaf Readings, and her Tarot cards were regularly all over the dinner table!

I resisted the cards myself. Oh I made a right meal of resisting them! Even when I reached the heady heights of an Intuitive and Spiritual Guide to awakening women all over the world, I resisted Tarot. Even though I knew the cards so well I resisted. Even though it’s in my ancient bloodline I resisted!! I have to say that I can only see this in hindsight. I didn’t know at the time!

Q: Why do I think I resisted?

A: The Witch Wound!

Mum was terrified of her own gifts. She’d been ridiculed and beaten for them in this lifetime and no doubt persecuted and/or executed in previous ones. She handed the fear onto me and strongly discouraged me.

Well, no more. I surrender!

I whole-heartedly surrender. (My brother presenting me with our late Mum’s original cards confirmed it!).

And of course the moment you do let go the floodgates open and magic happens. Everything comes together. Doors open. Ideas and intuition flows. And new beginnings await…

Were you killed for being a Witch in a past life?

NO matter what your beliefs are around past lives, many women as they awaken start to experience flashbacks, fears and visions that make no sense. Women who have never even vaguely been interested in Wicca or Witchcraft start having ‘memories’ bubble up about meeting a messy end as a Witch.

The day I jumped off the cliff

I was terrified. My gut was in knots. A friend had pushed me off the ledge and suggested I rent a room at a doctor-run complimentary clinic in town. But how could I? I knew my dream was to work for myself in some way that would heal and empower women but I wasn’t ready.

Or was I?

SPIRITUAL CRISIS: Changing how awakening is treated in modern healthcare

expansion-1 paige bradley

This past weekend I headed off on a mighty road trip with my friend and fellow ‘Spiritual Crisis’ experiencer, Emma. Our mission, should we choose to accept it, was to attend the Spiritual Crisis Network UK’s annual conference (I’m part of their development team) and to go to a pioneering two day training on how to help people experiencing spiritual emergence, hosted by Dr Emma Bragdon.

A dear friend and client of mine died tragically last year as a result of her spiritual emergence process tipping into an emergency. The doctors didn’t recognise Spiritual Emergence and so treated her as if she was ill. She had her emergence pathologised and it was so internally violent for her that it cost her her life.

I don’t want to see that happen again.

OK, I admit it, even working on the final edit of my book is an emotional challenge.

Writing a deeply personal, reveal-all spiritual memoir about my awakening and spiritual crisis is NOT easy. I’m sooo looking forward to finally birthing this baby!! Thank you so much for all your support my lovelies. I hope my next books will be easier to write.

Here’s a bit of The Diary of an Awakening Woman – Kimberley Jones for you……

My Conscious Birthday Ritual

Kim rose birthday 2015

As I approach my birthday on Tuesday and complete another turn around the sun, I have been inspired to reflect on the fact that I have become perhaps too good at surviving and battling through the countless tough times and navigating loss. I’ve earned my stripes many times over.

3 Ways to boost your intuitive confidence

  intuitive confidence blog

Have you stopped trusting yourself when it comes to making the key choices in your life? Have you lost confidence or connection with your inner voice? Have you lost your ‘Intuitive Mojo?’

Whenever life gets loud and busy it’s easy to lose sight of our internal ‘sat nav’ system. The outside voices and demands drown out our quiet inner guidance.

The call of the Soul Whisperer…

INTO YOUR REMEMBERING griffin keller 2

My work isn’t all love, light and sparkles you know (much as I love my glitter). My path regularly invites me to walk into the darkness with people and get messy. And I know the darkness well.

Awakening often means your life as you know it has fallen apart, you have no idea who you are anymore and all masks and glamour are torn away. There is no solid ground to stand on, no edges to define you.
